Thanks! It doesn't snow here much so it was a real treat to go for a hike in the snow.

Leaves on the Dyeweed (Emory's indigo) bush Psorothamnus emoryi. The name 'dyeweed' comes from the persistent iodine color that stains your fingers if you damage a leaf.

I determined using Google Street View that this is the bus terminal in Catamarca

Day one of the trip to the eclipse. We set out from San Diego, along the I-15 nearly the entire way. We stopped off in Barstow, mainly for road snacks. This McDonalds has a cute railroad station theme. This cell tower / billboard is done up like a water tower.
