The serrated edge made me wonder if these were nettles or strawberries, but they are not. Nettles have rising stalks with opposite leaves along the length, whereas strawberries have petiole rising out of a base with a cluster of 3 leaves at the end. Nettle leaves show more branching in the veins, while strawberries have one major vein.
