I would peg this as Oenothera Speciosa - "a species of evening primrose known by several common names, including pinkladies, pink evening primrose, showy evening primrose, Mexican primrose, and amapola"
I'll add this is the first time I've actually felt confident identifying something that wasn't in the San Diego County Native Plants book - although it was the similarity to other Evening Primroses that finally sent me down the correct Google track: Four pedals with two symmetrical lobes, four large stigma on the pistole.
