Ruby Lee Elizabeth Sasser was born on October 27, 1933 in Laurel County, Kentucky, the daughter of Millard and Nettie Dyer Mize who preceded her in death. She was united in marriage to Abe Sasser who survives. She is also survived by two sons, Ronald Lee Boggs and wife Beverly of Johns Creek, Georgia, Abe Sasser 111 and wife Paulette of Rio Rancho, Mexico, two daughters, Carol Ann Decker of Louisville, Kentucky, Valerie Kaye Cathers and husband Doug of London, Kentucky, one sister, Ann Richardson of Camby, Indiana, four brothers, Glen Mize of Phoenix, Arizona, John "Jr." Mize of Mesa, Arizona, Jim Ralph Mize of Buckeye, Arizona, and Lloyd Mize of London, six grandchildren, Steven and Timothy Boggs, Kevin, Joshua, and Brandon Decker, and Kendyl Elizabeth Cathers, four great grandchildren, Trey, Christopher, and Leah Boggs and Ella Rose Decker, one step-grandchild, Stephanie Blaylock plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Besides her parents she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Earl and Dearl Mize and two sisters, Ruth Eva and Pearl Mize, also one grandchild, Scott Decker. She was a homemaker and a member of the Dorthae Pentecostal Church for 51 years. She was Sunday school secretary for 46 years and attended Martha's Circle when she was able. Ruby Lee Elizabeth Sasser departed this life on Monday, December 6th, 2010 being 77 years, 1 month and 9 days of age.
