Laura Belle Lay was born on 6 September 1876 Pulaski County, Kentucky. Laura Belle was described by Minnie Leigh as a tall, thin woman who was ill tempered. She wore her hair in a bun practically all the time and was quite nervous. “Belle” as she was called, married Jerome Hall on the date of 30 August 1896.
