"John Lowery Phelps, son of James Buchanan Phelps and grandson of William Louden Phelps. I remember John Lowrey Phelps making molasses at our house sometime during the 2nd world war. He married Maranda Catherine Bullock with whom he had 9 children. She died at an early age after which he married Susie Robinson. He and Susie had two sons.
