Video of trip to Circlesville, Pulaski County, Kentucky

Trip up Norwood to Circlesville after the road has been paved. This is a luxory because it was a gravel road which you had to cross a creek to get to Circlesville. This unknown point on a map is called Circlesville by the locals due to the fact that the road ended there and you would have to circle back around and go back to Science Hill. LOL This is very close to the former Jack Mize farm and a home that was owned by Walter Lay. The white and black house was owned by Walter Lay at one time. The rock (geode) wall around the Doolin Smith home was built by Walter Lay. He built many rock walls like this for extra money or for bartering of services. The farmers were more than happy to have the rock pulled from their fields when planting during the spring. Walter had constructed a rock bird bath which is in the possesion of a Lay descendent. The upper window in the house is the room where Danny Mize was born. There is a story that a person hanged themselve in the same room while staying at the house.
