Video Trip to Yosemite, Casey County, Kentucky
This is a video of a small town named Yosemite located in the Knob Region of Casey County, Kentucky at the intersection of Route 70 and 198. This is an agricultural community and is famous for it's dairy farms and farmer's markets. This was the hometown for John Thomas Calder and Sarah Jane Young, the parents of Minnie Alice Calder who married Walter Green Lay. John Thomas Calder (1856-1946) and his wife are buried at the Willow Springs Methodist Church Cemetery. The mother and father of John Thomas Calder, William Calder (1829-1918) and Samantha Catherine Brown (1835-1918) aka "Baltenburger Brown" are buried at the Green River Church Cemetery located at the edge of Yosemite.
